B2Bento @ BMA14: Walking the Talk with Social Media

  • Chester

We’re back from the 2014 Global BMA Conference, and what a blast it was!

On May 29, B2Bento editor-in-chief Anol Bhattacharya joined social media professionals Rick Stoner, Paul Myerscough and Thomas Foell on The Impact of Social Media Globalization: Why People Are More Important Than Your Logo.

Enjoy the discussion!

And here’s Rick Stoner’s own coverage, with bite-sized snippets.

This was no old presentation. The panel threw out the stodgy slide decks, and took to Twitter and LiveCube instead to get the audience in on the action.

Here’s some of what they had to say about it.

It was unconventional, it was unexpected, and it was a resounding success.

1,997 attendees (that’s 20% of the conference) were engaged on LiveCube, and asking the questions – 37 in all, out of which the panel fielded 7.

The Twitter front was alive and buzzing as well with 408,374 impressions, 214 mentions, and 237 retweets.

And, most incredibly – we wrapped up early!

A big thanks to Rick, Paul, and Thomas, and our amazing audience, for such a great afternoon!
